Precious Joubert, born in Washington DC, is a Singer, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Model, Actress, Radio Personality and all around born entertainer. Growing up in a household of musicians, music lovers and performers, it’s understandable how music quickly became PJ’s first love. As her passion grew, she started singing professionally at the young age of 11…..In 2007 PJ started her own DC based R&B/Soul band project called “Soul 360″. PJ also features with many other R&B/Soul bands, Jazz bands, and Praise & Worship groups throughout the Washington D.C. area, and is currently singing with one of the most talented bands in Washington, D.C., “Sound of the City”…..PJ has featured on 2 compellation albums, “Get Wit It, or Get Hit Wit It”, 2001, and “Hustlin and Grindin”, 2003. In 2000, PJ attempted to be the 3rd member of a trio girl group started in Washington DC. However, due to creative differences, the group soon later parted ways…..PJ has successfully worked with the very talented producers of “Big Boy Beats”, Christopher “Biscuit” Bynum (co-founder of Sound of the City Music Group, LLC, and Vohn “Mr. Higgz” (co-founder of Sound of the City Music Group, LLC); along with the creative musician/producer/singer Antone “Chooky” Caldwell. All of whom have worked with artists such as Jill Scott, Conya Doss, Mariah Carey, Raheem DeVaughn, Ledisi, Chrisette Michele, Algebra Blassett, Snoop Dogg, and many, many more. Due to the major (and much deserved) buzz around Precious and her songwriting, she has been called to write on various artists albums ranging from Gospel, R&B, Pop, Soul, and Rock. PJ is currently a signed as a songwriter for Kato Publishing and Water Music Publishing. As a true all around entertainer, in 2007 PJ had started her journey as a professional actress and has already landed roles on Commercials, Television programs, and Theater….In 2010, Precious joined the crew of the Marcel Morning show as co-host on Atlanta’s Hot 96.3 WMAR FM , along-side radio heavy hitters Marcel formerly of DC’s nationally syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show on 93.9 WKYS, and Marc Clarke from Baltimore’s 92 Q . PJ is a driven woman and has a deep passion for entertainment…..Be on the look-out for this rising star.
